#1
hi all.
i receive basic ecu yesterday, and now got few time to do inital setup.

got few basic question.

1. i can't load ftdi driver, my platform is window 7 32 bit. or it is other way to load the driver? if not mistaken it require .inf file.
2. can i power up basic ecu with only usb cable? or it must feed with 12v?

that's all for now.

thanks in advance.

1. The FTDI drivers for 32bit and 64bit Windows operating systems can be found at: FTDI Website.
2. You must supply 12v and ground to the 12v and GND pins at the connector to power up the CoolEFI Basic ECU.  This is the two pins closest to the 10mm black varistor (surge protector).

You need to connect them to  RPM0 + and RPM1 + and make sure
RPM0- and RPM1-are connected to ground.
Don't know  witch name the soft/firmware has signed to them.

Schematic is at the CoolEfi site and there is a lot off info in it.

Now I see what you mean.
You mean the PPS number in the  in the left bottom corner of your screen.
Sorry can't help on this, software is also my weakest point.

What happens if you disconnect the crank and cam sensors ?
